Caregivers

We have an enormous need for Caregivers. Our caregivers are volunteers who mainly work with the babies and toddlers, as well as helping teach the children in our classrooms.

Volunteer program (these are people from the community who do not live at Adullam House): Must be at least 18 years old. We ask that volunteers sign up for a day and time of the week that they can regularly work at Adullam House and stay committed to that time slot.

On-site caregivers. Must be 18 years or older. We ask for a one-year commitment when you sign up to be a caregiver at Adullam House. This timeframe gives the children some stability, and assures us that the caregivers are willing to commit to this ministry. These positions are not paid; however, living expenses are taken care of by Adullam House. Caregivers are required to attend church with the children and staff at the Adullam House church home, Harden St. Church, located at 425 Harden St., Eclectic, AL 36024.

Our workers fall in love with the children and treat them as if they were their own. There is a bond that develops between the caregivers and the children...much love is shared. Our caregivers give sacrificially and have helped make The Dream of Adullam House become A Reality.

If you are interested in finding out how to become a part of this ministry in the area of Caregiving, please contact us. We will be happy to talk to you!
